Piazze

Piazze is a dynamic district of Cetona which became part of the area by Napoleonic decree whereas it had been previously linked to San Casciano dei Bagni. Another of the products of the Val di Chiana is celebrated here: the “bico” (a sort of focaccia to fill with whatever you like). The name refers to the spaces where charcoal was burned by the charcoal burners
